Professor T. T. Oladokun

Timothy Tunde Oladokun is a Professor at the Department of Estate Management, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria. He holds the Master of Science (M.Sc) and Ph.D by research of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile ife, Nigeria. His research interest is in the area of corporate real estate management, facilities management and real estate education. Prior to joining the academia, Oladokun had over twelve years’ experience in active professional practice. A thorough-bred Professional; he is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and Registered with the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON).

Aside sufficient industry exposure, Prof. Oladokun is distinguished in the field of academics and research with over 70 publications in Corporate real estate management, facilities management, valuation and Sustainability and over 20 years of lecturing engagements in reputable higher institutions in Nigeria. His publications bear testimony to his passion for facilities management, Property and corporate real estate management, real estate education and sustainability. He won the Emerald Group Publishing (U.K) Property Management Best Paper Award (2010). Timothy has published widely in both local and international reputable journals.

He is a former Head, Department of Estate Management, Obafemi Awolowo University. At the professional level, Timothy was the public relation officer (PRO) of Osun State branch of the NIESV and served at the Corporate Affairs Committee of the Institution. He was a member of the Board of Examiners of the NIESV and a reviewer to many local and international reputable journals. He was a member of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria where he served in the Education Committee as well as the Tribunal. He is currently a member of the Education Committee of both the NIESV and ESVARBON.
