OBAYOMI Abiola Benjamin is a Lecturer in the Department of Estate Management at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Estate Management from the same institution and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Estate Management, further consolidating his academic and professional expertise in the built environment discipline.

His research interests are firmly rooted in housing studies, with particular emphasis on housing provision, housing management, and housing satisfaction. Over the years, his scholarly engagements have interrogated the dynamics of residential environments, user satisfaction, and management practices within in private housing contexts. More recently, his research focus has expanded to include Property Technology (PropTech), reflecting an interest in the application of digital innovations and technological solutions to real estate development, management, and service delivery.

Through teaching, research, and academic service, OBAYOMI Abiola Benjamin contributes to the advancement of knowledge and professional practice in estate management, particularly in relation to livable housing outcomes and technology-driven transformation in the real estate sector. He is a graduate member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, underscoring his commitment to professional standards, ethical practice, and continuous development within the estate surveying and valuation profession.
