Professor Joseph Bamidele Oyedele (FNIVS, ESV, BSc, MSc, PhD)
Joseph Bamidele Oyedele received his BSc in Estate Management (Obafemi Awolowo University-OAU, Nigeria), MSc. (OAU, Nigeria) and PhD from The University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, UK where he examined The Capital Markets and the Delivery Vehicles for International Infrastructure Investments. At the end of his PhD, Prof. Oyedele was awarded with a Certificate of Excellence for being the PhD student with the Best Paper in the School of Built Environment at the University of Ulster, United Kingdom.
Joseph Bamidele Oyedele is a Professor at the Department of Estate Management in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. His area of research covers land administration, property development finance, public private partnership (PPP), global infrastructure investment and portfolio analysis. Professor Oyedele is currently the Head of Department of Estate Management, Obafemi Awolowo University since 1st of August, 2024 to date. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and a registered member of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria. He is the author of several books including The Future of Private Finance Initiative and Public Private Partnership, and Global Capital Flows to Infrastructure Investments-The Institutional Investors’ Perspectives. Prof. Oyedele has over forty (40) publications to his credit and has presented papers in conferences across Africa, Europe and America.
